It seems I'm always treating something or another since I picked up this hobby. Latest is a treatment of my pacific blue tang with Malachite Green.
The instructions say to change 50% water every odd days (1,3,5...) and dose the new water.
Normally I change water daily due to ammonia with other treatments. I would like to test the ammonia level now too but I'm not sure if the test kit would work. Anyone know if Malachite affects ammonia testing?
Secondly, the instructions say to try and not feed the fish during treatment. Any advice in this? Should I take the fish out and feed it in another clean tank?
