Weird Crab

I haven't been able to get a picture yet - so I will try to describe as well as I can.

I have a hitchiker crab. He appears to be black with white stripes on hairy back legs. Front claws are smooth and very round.

He seems to eat coralline algae from around his hiding hole in the live rock. As soon as I move to get a better look, he ducks in and hides.

Any ideas would help me to narrown my search on line.
