Weird Design on glass?

Was just putting a new anenome in my tank when i noticed this weird design on the glass what could it be?

Can you actually hatch and grow these things????

That'd be a LOT cheaper than buying them.

Depends on how many you wanted, if they breed and hatch out with no intervention from you...yeah, much cheaper, but if you have to set up a tank to keep predators from the eggs, feed the other snails etc....tank maintennace...the cost for just enough to populate your tank may go quite a bit higher than you would pay from a retailer. I have no experience with breeding cerriths so I can't give you any thoughts on if that might be necessary.
