I bought new coral and this baby emrald cam with the coral without me knowing.

I has a emerld crab is brown body and claws with zebra striped legs.

Emerald crabs are green (hence emerald).

Could it be a sally lightfoot crab?

how about a pic.. without one ID is almost impossible.. with a pic ID is hard enough, there are so many kinds of crabs..

I generally consider the pointy claw crabs bad ones, likely to be a problem. Never seen an emerald with striped legs. I'd get him out if I were you, but a pic would help.

I have only seen it once and it a little smaller or about the same size of a dime. The only way that I can get a pic of it is if I rip up my tank and try to find it.

The next time I see it will will post a Pic ASAP

I think I'd grab it if you can. Doesn't sound like an emerald to me.
