What is this?

Ive had this piece of rock for a while and took a look at the back side of it and found this bubblish pink thing...











Sorry for the photo-bombing shrimp, i was invadeing his home lol.

looks like bubble algae
if you try to remove it be gentile not to pop it or it will release spurs all over the tank

I thought bubble algea was green? It has a mouth and when i shine the light on it it closes its mouth...

Looks like a bubble coral to me, how about you guys? Like a single head of bubble coral? Just an idea... I dont know how its alive though as it is on the side of the rock which gets 0 light.

Looks like a ricordea to me except the only ricordeas i have in my tank are green and have rounded edges...

yeah, just leave it. You could try moving the rock to give it more light tho
