What is this?

Ive had this piece of rock for a while and took a look at the back side of it and found this bubblish pink thing...

looks like bubble algae
if you try to remove it be gentile not to pop it or it will release spurs all over the tank
 
Looks more like a mushroom or some type of anemone

Looks like a bubble coral to me, how about you guys? Like a single head of bubble coral? Just an idea... I dont know how its alive though as it is on the side of the rock which gets 0 light.
 
Not a bubble coral. It has no skeleton.

Looks like a ricordea to me except the only ricordeas i have in my tank are green and have rounded edges...
