What is this worm?

Cleaning out all the filters I found this worm curled up in the balls, gave me a shock and a half, it us alive and it us moving, it's got like spikes down each side of it's body, is it ok to put back in the tank or should I dispose of it?

Looks like a bristle worm. Basically part of your cuc.

I know it's a bristle worm, I was wondering what type and if it's dangerouse

The only bad type are the bearded fireworms really. The rest do not usually cause any problems and they clean the tank. Just dont touch them and your fine. Touching them will result in many fiberglass looking hairs going into your skin that hurt and are very irritating. Ive only had this happen to my once on my thumb. It sucked but its not horrible, vinegar on the wound will dissolve the hairs
