WHAT KIND OF ALGAE IS THIS?

THIS ALGAE IS RED AND IS A SLOW GROWER AND HASN'T TAKEN MY TANK OVER YET. I'VE BEEN BATTLING IT FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AND THIS IS THE WORST IT GETS. I JUST PLUCK THESE LITTLE"TREES",IF YOU WILL, RIGHT OUT.

ALSO!! What is that black bubble? It looks kind of shiny right there under the algae. I have about 10 or so in my tank. Anyone know?

I'm thinking it's coraline algae. If I'm right, it's actually a good thing - sign of a healthy tank. Just scrape it off of the surfaces you would rather look through/at and let it grow elsewhere.

Kind of looks like Cyanobacteria but could be Red Gracillaria since it's growing slowly.

The shiny one is Valonia macrophysa

Can you post tank size, lighting, and other parameters like ph/sg/alk/ca/no3/po4/temp.
