I just wanted to confirm what I think I already know. I rescued this fish from certain death at a Petcetera (Petco) and after a lengthy quarantine is now healthy enough for my main tank. Only thing is...it wasn't labelled at all. Is this a Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse?

Looks like a type of fairy wrasse but not sure which one. If I can find a more possitive ID, I'll post back.

The closest I can come up with is a blue sided fairy wrasse. It may also be called a blue sided velvet wrasse.

The problem with ID'ing this wrasee, imo, is that it looks to me like it is mid change from male to female. Fairy wrasses are harem fish, if a male doesn't have females around...they change sex to female.
