What type of algae is this?

Not sure what this is but it's only on one rock and it looks like carpet or fur. I don't know how else to describe it.

Ok, algae has grown on acouple other rocks now. No idea on how to control it. The algae is thick and almost like carpet. I've increased water changes and lowered light to 5 hours a day. Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure what kind it is, as I'm not very good with my algaes...but is it on a rock that could be taken out? Have you thought about changing your feeding regiment? Might be a nutrient issue? You might not like it, but it might not be totally bad. Maybe keep it for a fuge? Hopefully someone will chime in.

Well it looks really nice. It is a bright green color. I was just wondering if anyone has had this type of algae. I'll keep it in my DT for now.
