White "spider webs"

This stuff has been on my rock since I got it 4 months ago. Hasn't spread to any o the other rocks. I have scraped at it and it is soft like cotton or spider webs.

Thanks

These are not single threads. I have those also but diagnosed them some time ago. This is like a film or mucus across the whole rock.

Tunicates. It looks like there are some on this rock and they seem to go right with the webbing or mucus like stuff on the rocks. I saw the little clear tubes when looking real close. Anyone have anymore info on this?

Send a message via MSN to mr_X
tunicates do not make webs like that. it could be a eunicid worm making those web-like globs.
