white tree id?

hey everyone,
i have a live rock that has this white tree looking thing growing. I dont know what it is but would like to. its only about a centimeter in length and has a green base. Theres two of them close to eachother.

It could be a type of macro algae, it could even be a type of sponge. I can't tell what it is from the pic. A close up would help.

I agree with Allen. I have many in my tank. They dont get any bigger. They are OK in your tank.

Could also be a white foraminiferan.
