Please help me identify these.

The white tube-like things have little reddish 'flowers' sprouting out (they retreat when lit with a flashlight). I have litterally hundreds of these everywhere, the biggest ones are over 1" long. These are worms of some kind. They are all over the edges of the glass, and a large colony has found a home between the grills of the bio filter.

The other unidetified object is probably a sponge?
Please notice the odd-looking 'tube' that comes out of it. I have two of these and they are only slightly larger than a shirt button.

I have a 6 months old 55g FOWLR tank.

Thanks.

Common tube worm, aka feather duster. These are filter feeders and are great to have.

I agree with the sponge. What kind.. Well I dont know. Another filter feeder so no direct care is needed.
