Hello fellow knowledgeable reefers! I seen this getting friendly underneath some of my coral and took it out and now resigns in kitchenware.

1: what is this?
2: is it bad?
3: should I put it back in tank, does it meet a purpose?

Looks like a bristol worm. Some people say harmful some say benifitical. My experience is they repopulate fast and can take over quick. Don't touch them they can sting and cause rash.

Thanks man!

I would put him back in the tank. They're fantastic scavengers and won't kill anything healthy.
