zebra flounder

we have a zebra flounder, but can't get it to eat. does anyone know what they like? does anyone know where it's mouth is? it is not like a normal flounder its eye are close together and it has a snorkle like thing comming off himself infront of its eyes. tried fedding silver sides, krill, and both have been soaked in garlic too. the other fish eat just fine. tries feeding during the day and night. any help thanks.

It mainly feeds on crustaceans and small fish so try shrimp and mysis for a start. You may have to ween it onto prepared foods by feeding gut-loaded ghost shrimp, black worms, or "red wiggler" worms.

If it's a flounder like those I catch when fishing, the mouth is on the bottom side. Eyes on the top.
