These guys are just starting to get their color. I'm so proud of my work! Other than all their first and last rays on their caudal being a bit short they look great. No deformities or anything that I've been able to see! And it's a small spawn so I haven't had to do any culling :)
Anyways, on to the pictures! Sorry if the tank bottom seems a bit messy in any of them, the tank gets messier faster than I can clean it with all the plant residue dropping.

The last pic is of them at only a few days old. They have grown a lot more than I thought in only 3 weeks!

Also should add that they are HMPK's.

Here are their parents
Mom is the Dalmatian, dads the blue mustard marble type.

Thanks! I'm a little worried because the mom has the x-factor, but they both have such interesting coloring that I couldn't help but spawn them anyways.

This is my first successful spawn so its been pretty stressful, but soon I will hit the 30 day mark and will have only lost 1 known fry :)

I've tried breeding bettas before... not quite as easy as guppies ;) beautiful fish, though! congrats!

Oh yeah, breeding betta's was seeming impossible to me for a longgg time. Every time i would attempt it would fail miserably. Luckily I have finally found a conditioning method that works for me and hopefully works with everyone else in the future too.

Thanks!

Update:: found 2 more dead yesterday morning. Not sure what happened but I think it will be okay.
