Hey, so I'm almost completely satisfied (minus the ugly substrate) with my tank now after many changes and hard work. I have around 12 different plants in the tank now and all are showing some good growth. Running 2 WPG on this tank with no C02 and adding exel every second day 
Had some problems with diatoms and other algae but things are starting to clear up nicely.
