I got the salt thing down now. I found early on I didn't have to add it all the time because of that "tidal flow" thing. I think we talked about that before. I now do it once a month unless I do a major WC.
I've seen pics of 2ft ones, your growth could be male versus female.

That's what I was thinking. There's really not much on how to sex them, so I figured size might be one way. I'm not planning to breed them and the smaller one is now showing growth. Since redecorating with wood they're both much happier as well.

By the way, love the name Ryuu. Very appropriate. I'm a big fan of Japanese names.

I named my first goldfish Akira......

before she layed eggs. Now she's "Mai".
