Any trick to taking clear pictures of your fish?

I've got a Canon A70 3.2mp digital camera and am having a problem taking focused pictures of my fish. I try to angle the camera so as to minimize the flash bounce back.

Any tricks to this?

The best results I've gotten are from using video mode, then taking out the best frame of the video to use as the picture. Also using the tank lights with the rest of the room dark helps a lot.
