here is a picture of my blue ram. he is about 6 months old. he lives in a 45 gallon community planted tank with another blue ram (also 6 months old) dwarf gouramis, plattys, glo fish, mollys and 2 south american cat fish. rams need a lot of care but are well worth it in my opinion. the most important thing? water changes. i do one (about 7-8 gallons) every third day using ro water with added trace elements.

Crowntail Betta (Betta Splendens)

I picked this one up not too long ago. I couldnt resist because of the way his fins look with large portions actually clear and other parts light blue. My wife suggested naming him. Being the jokester I am I told her I thought he looked Irish so I was naming him Gill-bert Fin-negan. The name stuck.

He resides in a 1.5 gallon tank with a rock decoration and some live anacharis. Sometimes he likes to sit on one of the loops formed by the strands of the plant, like sitting on a swing.

He eats dried blood worms and betta flakes (only 1 type per day) with one day each week as a fasting day.

This little guy is a close relative of the Garra Ruffa, also known as the "Manicure Fish". As you can tell in the picture, he is more than happy to manicure my hand while I manicure his home.

Care:
Current Size: 2" (Max 4.5")
Temp: Standard Tropical
pH: Neutral (hardy)

Diet: New Life Spectrum (and occasionally my hand), Zucchini, and Biofilm that grows on tank glass.

This is Apache, my African Featherfin Catfish (synodontis eupterus). This species has the nickname Featherfin Squeaker, in honor both of the incredible feather-like high fin and also the noise they make to communicate. Eupterus is Greek for "beautiful wings". He also has spooky blue eyes.

Apache resides in a planted 75 gallon tropical tank with blood parrot cichlids and emperor tetras. There is a sand substrate which accommodates his gorgeous feathery barbels.

Temp: 79
Food: frozen mysis shrimp and plankton, cichlid flakes, bloodworms, shrimp pellets, algae wafers

These are my two peacock eels. They are in a planted 55 gal with a feather fin and a dinosaur birchir. Lovely creatures to watch and they get along great.
