Saw the video of it on animal planet. Not to be a downer but for what the guy spends on it a month (and has spent over-all) it could feed a few families for a year. More I think about it that is just too much.

people spend a million on a car jewelry houses.... there are plenty of people who throw all kinds of money away on crazy things. someone spending money to keep their fish alive i dont think is a waste.

This would be the almighty tank of the year. I would love these fish. You bring up a good point mgamer about the money people throw away on cars and stuff. But either way you would have to have the money in the first place. And i will tell you this. I don't have it.

true MG.... And I would be teh last person anyone would call a bleeding heart. I guess that any sort of excess just gets to me.

I can think of a ton of things I could do with just what the guy pays in food and other maintenance costs a month. It would pay my rent for 4 months!

100% agree. there far worse ways people throw money away.... but in the end they work for it they get to spend it who cares how much it is.
