Talking [Photos] Check out my very first tank! :)

Hullo

I'm new to the forums and I finally got my tank cycled!
Here we go

Dec/6/15 - Taking the plunge! Bought a 70L tank

Dec/9/15 - Sand and driftwood for a sandy, woody environment

Dec/11/15 - Plants

Dec/20/15 - More plants!

Dec/22/15 - Added a black background

Jan/21/2016 - A month later, plants a bit more grown in, and fully cycled!

Jan/21/16 - Here are my Harlequin Rasbora acclimating

Jan/28/16 - It's been a week and they've settled in nicely (got some more plants too)

My poor attempt at trying to get a still shot :P

I think this is my fav shot!

I'm a fish!

I'll be getting some cory cats soon, that's why I've got the sand

Thanks so much for viewing my journey so far!
You guys are awesome

That is one heck of a first tank! Awesome! Puts my tank to shame. I just added my first real plant to my 10 gallon today, an amazon sword. What plant is that in the very center of the tank that looks like a single stalk rising up? I like it.

You know at first I was having a look at all the plant names and how tall they grow, how much light they need, hardness, temps.

But in the end I just bought any random plant at my LFS... haha
So I don't know what it is, sorry!

Good luck with your plants

When are you going to set up your next tank? This one is fantastic, it'd be a shame to stop at one

It's funny you say that. Because I recently got a second hand Juwel 180 for very cheap! It's about 10 years old but no leaks or anything. Hopefully I'll get it set up in a few months c:

Great new tank! Love the plants, and a school of harlequins is just beautiful.
