Fungia sp. Short tentacle- the ones that live. Give it a piece of food and watch it carry it into it's mouth. Pretty cool.

I don't know about anyone else but I wanna go play at Mr_X's house!!!

I think he's a nice guy but I wouldn't be surprised if he chops your hand off once you reach inside his tank

All these beautiful corals I find intimidating! But here are a few of my favourites, just started collecting so be nice! If they uploaded correctly its cloves, hammer, leather, sun and the last one I'm unsure of proper name. All taken on the iPhone

i haven't posted one in a bit. here is a new pic of one of my not completely identified corals yet. if anyone has a better idea what this is i would like to know. i want to see what it looks like when larger. its currently about 2" or so across.

wow fort those are nice. looks like in the 5th pic the ricordia has 2 mouths. it may split soon.

corals are looking spectacular everyone. keep it up. here is my new hammer coral. im not sure if it is 2 different colours mixed together or just some heads are not bright green yet.

and here is a very unhappy birdsnest frag i picked up. hoping it makes a recovery

It is a Canon T3 rebel, with a Tamron 60mm f/2.0 macro lens. I shoot with a custom White Balance, ISO 100, and various shutter speeds based on the aperture setting.

Could you elaborate on the custom settings? Are you using a kelvin setting?
I can't seem to figure it out...

first you need to take a picture of something that is white under the same lighting as where the pictures you want to take using a canon preset mode, then there is a wb button on the right side, scroll over to custom it will tell you to select the pic you just took. now you have a custom white balance
