Scientific Name: Moenkhausia pittieri
Common Name: Diamond Tetra
Overview: Easy, hardy fish, great for beginners. Eats a wide variety of foods, especially likes freeze dried blood worms. Do best in larger groups, I had two for two years and once I added three more they really started schooling nicely.

Three year old Diamond Tetra (curious Neon behind him):

Be gentle, this was taken with my cell phone, a LG Dare.

Dwarf Gourami (Colisa lalia)

Common Name: Dwarf Gourami
Scientific Name: Colisa Lalia
Background: 20G tank with assorted green plants both fake and real. Looks like my two gold barbs (Puntius semifasciolatus) and bala shark (Balantiocheilos melanopterus) creeped into the pic also.

This is my first Berried Red Chery Shrimp, she has amazing color and looks great. I've had her since Dec. and she has dropped her eggs from then. I'm very excited for the babies.

My girlfriend's newest addition acclimating

Betta splendens
Siamese Fighting Fish
water: 75-86ºF

Beautiful fish with great personality. Enjoys warm, slightly acidic water and thrives on live food. Usually kept solitary; can be kept in a peaceful, quiet tank.

This was actually the first non-red I had ever seen.

This is one of my two Otocinclus, Warner. They're a blast to have in a tank and tend to keep energy levels high.
