My dad asked me to help him pick out a digital camera for the family, so im looking for suggestions.

umm, prolly under $400, currently uses a Pentax Zoom90-wr, and just wants a quality digtal camera.

I've been looking around Circuit City's website, and am rather impressed with the reviews that the Olympus D-540 Zoom Digital Camera. It is realitively cheap, about $200, and seems to be a good beginner camera. Anybody used this cam?
