The one in the back is actually larger, but not by much. You can kind of tell by his dorsal fin. It's grown in longer.

Beautiful! I wish I could photograph my pearl gouramis like that. They always hide when they see the camera :?

The trick is to get them when they're just waking up. My fish are normally just hovering around when I return from work. I feel bad waking them, but I need to watch them to relax. For the first half minute or so, I have slower moving fish.
