my marine tank

Hopefully this works i have added some pics of my tank. Im new on this site so they might not work lol. Tank is just over 1 year old now. Running Red Sea max hang on back skimmer 3xt8 light 2 white 1 blue and 1x 150w 14000k metal halide. no sump at this stage just an external jebo 815 filter.

I'm not very knowledgeable about fish tanks so a couple q's having to do with the lack of substrate:

Is it easier to keep clean?
How about the water balance? Don't thinks in the substrate help to maintain that balance?
Do your rocks shift or have more of a chance since they don't have anything to sit in?

Thanks for the kind words guys. Smitty i have found it good to keep clean heaps of people advised me not to have any sand as a lot of people have had trouble with detritus build up etc in sand. the rock seems to sit there nicely it hasn't moved yet. i would like to put in a sump next though.
