It was tons of fishing line and mesh stuff all tangled together. I hope you're all clicking the pictures to make them bigger cause they look like poo all scrunched together

Great pics!!!!
But none of the lighthouse?!? I haven't been to Montauk in years. I wonder if they still let visitors go inside the lighthouse?

I really like the shot before the tangles fishing line. Few people use B/W and I find it does a great job depicting beach scenes and architecture. Did you shoot in B/W mode or reprocess the image later?

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. When I use digital I edit the photo for black and white, but when I am using my 35mm I use B&W film and develop it myself. Not sure if they still let people in the lighthouse, I didn't have a chance to visit this year.

Well I haven't been on in a few days, so I missed this whole thread (and about 50 others). Great pics! I esp like the color one of the tree trunk/beach/water and the very last one (green green green).

Didn't you say it was your birthday recently? Nice of Montauk to shoot off fireworks in your honor. LOL.

Haha. Those weren't fireworks, they were actually canceled cause of rain :-(. The white one is a sparkler and the other is our kick *** bon fire that me and my friends made.

Great pics! I just can't believe that you left behind that great looking wood in the second pic. LOL. Did you take the LIRR? I noticed you took pics of the train and the station sign.

Yep. The train ride there is nice and relaxing. Haha @ the wood. Me and my friends actually gathered a ton of rocks that I was going to take home (about 20) but I didn't have anything to put them in. They would've looked great in my tank.
