Over the past few months I have been slowly upgrading everything in my tank. I started off with a 10 gallon, then moved onto a 20 gallon long. It took a while but my plants and fish have finally settled and began to blossom. I really like the way my tank looks like right now and would just like to share how it looks!
I've got the following fish in there for now:
12 white clouds
1 male betta
4 red nose shrimp
4 oto cats
and I've got the following plants in my tank:
3 banana plants
2 pieces of driftwood attached with java moss
dwarf hairgrass
2 small crypt wendtii normal variety
1 small crypt wendtii brown variety
broad leaf ludwigia
cardinal plant
amazon sword
1 small chain sword
1 marimo moss ball
mint charlie
java fern normal variety
java fern laced variety
a few giant duckweed
I use a whisper PF 40 for my 20 gallon tank, I know it's a bit much but you can never get too much filtration!
I dose flourish comprehensive, root tabs, and flourish excel. I have 3.8 WPG of T5 6700k + 10,000k bulbs. (trying to grow enough algae for my otos, not sure if it's a good idea though).
