Well, it's time to start accepting photos for the May Saltwater Photo contest.

Then submit your photos for this contest.

Submissions will be accepted up till 4/23/03 12:00AM


Contest photo winners will receive 100 Kudos.

Instead of a clown fish, how about a yellow tail damsel loving a condy???

The camera is an Olympus D490 2.1 mp.

The food used for the condy is fresh shrimp 1 time weekly
The Fish get a mixture of crushed krill, Forula one pellets, OSI Marine Flakes and Tetra Marine Flakes 1 time daily, and Frozen brine for a treat once a week.

Common name: Scooter blenny
Scientific name: Synchiropus ocellatus

Eats copepods and also brine shrimp

He sometimes shows off when we approach the tank, he and a female scooter were the first fish we aquired, therefore he feels he is defending his area.

Common Name - Blue Linckia Star with "Mini-Brittle" star 'hitchhiking'.
Scientific Name - Linckia laevigata with Ophiactis brittlestar hitchhiking.

Care requirements of Linckia sp. ~ Extremely careful & slow acclimation...other than that, a lot of live rock. We have about 225lbs of LR in the display tank.

Camera = Nikon Coolpix 995
Settings = Shutter Speed = 60, macro mode, auto white balance, ISO = 100, no flash.
