My huge stripped Raphael, it's approximately 6-7 inches length, and is pretty fat, guess its happy eating

Wow 12 years old, that's great, that one looks kind of skinny compared to mine, think mine's too fat?
Nice looking!

I feel really stupid because I forgot this was my thread. I recently posted another picture of the exact same pleco that i started the thread with. I looked at this thread this morning and asked myself why my user name was on the thing that says who's thread it is. Anyhow everyone has really nice looking catfish and plecos. Let's continue to make this a huge thread.

This guy is in my main tank. He's pretty social. Comes out for feelings, latches to the walls during the day, etc.

This guy is my shy pleco. He loves his stump. Comes out for veggies, occasionally meal times. Other than that, he comes out usually after 8pm.

I have one that looks just like that except its tail colors are white not golden, do you know what it is? I've thought it was a bn but now I'm not so sure..

That's a common pleco. They get really big so make sure you have a large enough tank. Btw what kind of filter do you have on your tank?

It's a common Pleco trust me. Bushy noses don't have the same body structure and they have a bushy nose. They also don't have a large dorsal fin. It's ether a common Pleco or a sail fin Pleco. Sorry I meant to quote the other guy in the last post. I was talking about the photo of the pleco above our comments is a common or a sail fin. Btw you have that many filters on one tank? On my 29 I have an Eheim 2213 and an Aquaclear 50
