Try using an external flash and adjust the white balance manually.

Both taken while the clown was moving, both taken with an external flash. I've had some success with onboard flash, but the results are alot better with an external, if your cam will support one.

That's not too bad, here is what I get with just a little levels, curves and contrast adjustment in PS.

It's still a bit yellow. In photoshop, run a manual levels adjustment, click the middle eye dropper and then sample neutral gray areas. Shadows, preferrably not too deep a shadow, keep clicking different shadows or gray areas until the color looks right.
