My newly built 300g plywood aquarium, built with a sump to start with but it was to noisy so I'm using canisters. It's not finished yet but here it is so far :)

I think generally rubberised paint is used but here in the UK it isn't easy to find and is pretty expensive, so I used pond liner and stuck it onto the ply using solvent free floor adhesive stuck and screwed it together with silicone and wood decking screws and left it to dry for a few days, then I siliconed the inside edges and corners the same as a glass tank would be and viola! lol I had a couple of small leaks on around the glass panel but a bit more silicone and seems to be fine now :)

Oh and the black stuff is the pond liner, I left it overlapping coz I plan on sticking thin panels on the outside so it looks good.

Thanks! you got me thinking now :)

Yea pretty sure, I'm in the building trade so I know where it needs bracing and the weak points :)
