3D backgrounds

Is it better to purchase a 3D background or to make one I'm knew to this idea I am thinking about doing it but idk that is why I need your help with learning bout them ?? Can anyone help ??

ive just built my own one just waiting for it to cure, all i did was pop down to my local wickes and buy a sheet of styrofoam insulation. this stuff calves really easy so i shapped it how i wanted to, then i bought some underwater cement thats actualy designed for fixin ponds and swimming pools etc, (it continues to harded even when submerged) its so much easier then i thought!! go for it bud

no i dont sorry i was gonna photograph it step by step but my camera was dead and i couldnt be bothered to wait for it to charge lol


ill get a pic up on saturday because its being filled with water tommorow and will need a day for the sand to settle down again.
