Almost done

Ok, this has been a long project but we're getting close to the end . I thought I share some pics before this 46 gal bow front goes on its place.I'm so happy it's almost done. To bring every one up to speed here's what we got. 46 gal with stand $30 plus a 55 gal. The sump filter cost $80 complete to build. Still going to add one more filter an a bag of lava rock for bio media. Oh i spent $30 On rehabbing the tank. That includes reseal plus the top plastic frame center brace was broken. I cut pieces of plexiglass an remoleded the brace. I found the light on eBay for $35 with shipping. The gravel is pea gravel from local landscape place for $3 for fifty pounds. So I owe most of the credit on the sump build to Joey king of diy on YouTube.if you havnt seen his videos go check it out. I still have to get a ball valve for the inlet line and a check valve for the feed. Plus more driftwood and plants. Got some good pieces at squashes in Chicago this weekend. Thats how to do it. Great job. The hobby is so much more enjoyable when awsome acquisitions are found for cheap and successful DIY projects just add to the savings.
The potential costs in this hobby can sometimes be staggering. I learned that the hard way a long time ago. Lol.

We put in four little 1/2" baby Dalmatian mollies. They look so small. I thinks I'm going to ad some more plants to help it cycle. I got some pilo mooss I'm going to dress over the bonzi tree.
