Any ideas on how I could rig some sort of hinge like system (or anything really) that would allow me to open my hood by lifting the front a few inches so I can easily feed the fish without removing the hood entirely? The hood is rather heavy... I know what you're thinking, just open the door (or build a door) in the front (but I dropped the lights low blocking the existing door as the plants are pearling (they were not before) because I dropped the lights lower so I need to keep the door blocked now. My only option is to lift the entire hood to gain access which is possible but is a pain. If I could build some sort of stand (right now a block of wood suffices) to hold the hood it would be awesome. I'm fishing for thoughts on how you guys might go about accomplishing this. Thanks for any ideas.
