Has anyone used window tint instead of painting the back of tank?

I don't know if window tint can be applied without using chemicals. That would be my deciding factor. I have seen some folks use frosted glass paint on their back side, and it looks good. If you can get window cheap and apply it without danger to your fish, then I don't see why not...

I have always used window tint on mine! Easily removed too without damaging the tank!
New tank so please excuse the lack of decorImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1423074708.599343.jpg

Thanks! It's just black limo tint! Put on with water using a spray bottle and then squigy the air bubbles out! No need for any chemicals making it 100%safe

I assume you are applying it on the outside of the back?
I like that idea.
