Can you double up acrylic?

So basicly I work at a golf cart customizing shop and I aquire a lot of old used windsheilds. Mainly scuffed and tinted but I think I can buff the scuff out. The main problem is they are only around 1/8" thick. So is there any way to glue two together and still be clear?

Like most things if enough resources are spent it could be done but the end product (capable from most DIY types) would not be near satisfactory for a tank. One of those things that one should just buy the appropriate material and save your time and effort for other more meaningful tasks that don't need such a special skill set.

I have laminated acrylic when making jigs in the shop and would never be satisfied with using them for anything else.
