Crafted driftwood trees

Somewhere, I came across a video/guide of someone crafting fake driftwood trees. They used wire, to craft the basic skeletal frame, then some white clay or resin, to make the tree. Once it was almost set they made some notches and groove lines, then painted it, with different shades of brown. The result looked great.

Anyone seen this or something like it?

I don't think I've seen anything for an aquarium like that. Maybe fired clay perhaps but that would be it. Would be interested if you find a link.
