DAP 100% Silicone Rubber safe?

Title. Is the DAP 100% clear Silicone Rubber Sealant safe to use for a DIY slate cave?

It's made for doors, windows, siding, vents, and gutters.

It doesn't say anything about mildew prevention but it does say, "Meets ASTM c920, Class 25."

DAP makes an aquarium safe specific silicone. I contacted them a few months ago and asked them which of their silicones are aquarium safe and they said that none of them are for aquarium-use except for the type specifically labeled to do so.

That said, I've read about people using ge silicone I without any issues, but it's really not worth risking IMO.

DAP used to print aquarium safe on there 100% silicone, then i guess they realise they can make more money by labling one as aquarium silicone.

as long as a silicone is 100% silicone with now mold/ mildew aditives or is not the paintable kind, then it will be aquarium safe.
