De-rim a Fluval Edge

Hey guys. I got a 6g Fluval Edge off my LFS for free!!!. Only problem, it had two big cracks across the top. It sat up in my attic for 2 months. I knew I could find some use for it. I found a video of how to de-rim it. Now have a nice fry or shrimp tank. A bit tricky and some patience required but worth it. Now have a nice rimless tank!!!!

Check out craigslist for some damaged ones. You might find a few bargains!!!
If you try this, PLEASE be very careful with the blade. The blades needed are very thin, very fragile and EXTREMELY sharp.....
