DIY Caves

Hi. I want to build my own DIY cave from slate. Will regular slate from a DIY store work??. Any special treatments needed before adding to the tank. I will be using Aquarium Silicone to glue it together. I want to get some ideas for a cave, so please post a picture of your DIY cave. I would prefer to use slate but I am open to other possibilities....Ian

I built two slate caves for my tank. I ordered slate on eBay rather cheap and used silicone. My GBRs have decided that on of them is theirs and that is where they lay their eggs
