Ok to start off with some background I am an avid hobbyist who has two planted tanks. Well today my high school biology teacher told us we had to make something with a recycled 2 liter coke bottle. Well I did not wont to make a compost pile so I decided to take on the aquarium challenge. Well originally I was going to just buy a ten dollar internal filter but she told me had to use all recycled parts we will be leaving school on the weekends so it has to run 24-7 and I have no clue what to do I know you can make a coke bottle filter but its hand operated so the water would get dirty over the weekend. Alright some of your thoughts.

How about DIY co2? You could leave that running 24/7 and there's plenty of science involved.
