So about a year ago I bought the Aqueon 2.5 Gallon Tank for one guppy. A month ago the light on it burnt out, and I do not know how to remove the shield plastic to get to the light itself, so I could not replace the lamp. I moved my fish out to my 10 Gallon tank, but in the meantime I wanted to get a light source on the 2.5 gallon.
I bought a 24 LED Light strand on eBay for $5 and used it to illuminate the tank. It is very flexible, so I bent it and stuck the ends of the strand in the crevices of the plastic filter spot on the top of the tank. It turned out like this. The pictures are bad since I took it with my iPad.
It looks a lot nicer In person
