I have been searching for some descent looking light hanging kit for my 5 LED light, pretty much all using the same basic concept of mounting on the edge of the tank or a frame around the tank.
Did not like any of them, here is my version.
Started from 8ft Linear Track-Light, simple 1/4x1-1/4 washer and 1/4" plated Eyebolt. Painted the washers black. Removed the electrical contact from the bar, cut in half for 2 4' piece.
As for the S hook, Home Depots website list a bunch of cheap big box S hooks online, in the store all I found is a pack of 6 for $8 or $1.18 each, outrages. Got some curtains hangers from the $$ store 25 for $2.50, got 2 S hook from one.
Total cost including spray paint under $40
