New stand I have been building. About $50 for supplies well worth it! This is for my nano reef.

Thank you! Only problem I'm having is I don't think my green leather is opening as much as it should. It's Been in there about a week. Idk if it's to high up with the halides or if it's shedding it's coat getting used to the tank still. Anyone have any ideas?

Here's a picture of it. It's not very green either except way up on the tips. Think it just needs time in the system maybe.

Yeah I started it down low. But even still it's only a 10 gallon. So I also raised my halide 8 inches above the surface of the tank.

If no improvement I may move it to a corner and shade it a bit to get indirect light. And then I'll be able to add some SPS to the center of my display. Most of these corals will end up in a larger build thats in the planning. Will be getting a 125 drilled in about 6-7 months when I move. I can't wait to start on that reef!

I know the feeling!!! I just went up to a 125g reef myself. Lots of plannign and lots of work but SOOO worth it. lol

Yeah i found a 210 gallon that I really like but I feel it's kinda tall to be working with. Especially if a coral falls lol. Plus I'd need stronger lighting. But yeah I figured I'd start planning it now and collecting things like skimmer, pump, lighting and all the other good stuff. It's exciting to go back to a large reef. I wish I had pictures of my old 72 gallon.
