Yeah, what brookster said. Don't worry about a chip though. Make sure you use plenty of silicone on the back. Alot!

Diy stand for 30 gallon

Naw I already installed the bulkhead and applied the silicone it's maybe .05 inches deep just a shave of glass.

Fair enough! If you need one I can purchase and ship it to you! You would need a 100w from fluval and it's I think around 12 bucks right now!

I need a heater that's less than 9 inches long to fit in the sump. I feel like that might be a challenge.

The one I'm looking at has a minimal depth of 8 inches and is 11 inches long

Thanks man hopefully it doesn't crack this time. I have a hydor pico 300 as the return pump running at 150 gph. Next I have to get lights and RO unit.
