Filtration for a bowl

Hey guys. I had an old air pump siting around along with a fish bowl I used to acclimate fish. So I threw some used gravel and carbon into Dom pantyhose sock things. Then I put the end of an airline in it. Now I'm going to keep guppy fry in it. I'm fairly confident it will work. What do you think?

You would be better off getting an actual sponge filter.

IMO, you shouldn't use a bowl for any fish, let alone fry who are active, messy, and grow fast.
