Led question

I have 2 blue 3w led and a UV 1w led can I run them together off the same 700 buckpuck?

depends on forward voltages of the LEDs and the datasheets of the UV but generally at 700mA you will be ok.

Thanks, what about the setting for the soldering iron. High 40w or low 20w?

40w its fine I find it best to tin (heat the tip and cover in solder) the wires before trying to attatch it to the led pads. Make sure you are wiring the LEDs in series and not paralell. The key to soldering is for the solder to flow and not be globbed on it should be mostly shiny when it cools if it goes dull the two metels werent heated enough to bond.

Also most of the research out there shows that the UV LEDs have little effect on par and coloration unless you get up into the UV 10w panels...
