So you are building a tank based off of a creature that lives in a mechanical suit from Dr Who?

no, building a tank and stand based on the mechanical suit. i guess i need to draw up my idea so that everyone has a clearer view of my vision. something to work on 2nite i guess... ill post a pic of my drawing once i have it done. but the "skirt" will be a stand/cabinet to hold supplies, the tank will be the neck and shoulders, with the part holding the gun ad plunger mounted to the front of the skirt in front of the tank, and the dome will act as the hood with access door for deeding and light control...

Looks good! And I have to say, duct tape is pretty much the best thing ever. I have a duct tape miniskirt laying around somewhere.

ok... another update. a few things have changed from the original plans... such as the tank will now be acrylic, the rest wood as planned, except maybe the dome... i have decided on filter, heater, light, sand, no idea on plants yet (any suggestions) and some decor, as well as having changed stock. it will now, hopefully, house 3 (2 if they pair) leopoldi angelfish, 3, maybe 4 kuhli loach, and a small colony of rcs (yes i know they will be eaten, that is their purpose) on black sand...

right now im working in a full size base, out of cardboardto be used as templates for cutting later. ill post pics when im done for the night!

thanx! i knew it would be big, but i didnt calculate the size of the tank right, so now i have to re figure it! good thing i like math... and she is the sister to the cat seen in an earlier pic. half maine coon, half siamese, one is tortoise colored and long haired, the other looks like a tortoise point siamese and has short hair... yin and yang... im going to work on recalculating the tank size 2nite...

so... refigured tank dimensions based on base size, and if i make the tank 2 feet high my tank will be about 45g, prob a bit bigger since the volume of the cylinder im calculating for will fit inside the actual tank... i have all but my lights picked out as well, and have revised my stock list as well. 4 leopoldis til they pair off, then i will rehome the other 2, 3 upside down cats and about 5 kuhli loaches, probably more... ill update as i get more things figured out. oh! and i had a job interview the other day! if i get the job im hoping to start building soon!
