Need help replumbing my cpr bakpak skimmer

Anyone know what size piping the outlet is? Or where i can get piping for it? It is not pvc dimensions because i have tried to use various pvc and cant get it to work.

What im trying to do is extend the outlet atleast 3" down into the tank to try and reduce bubbles. Right now it just has a elbow that sits maybe 3/4 down into the surface of the water and it causes a lot of bubbles to pop. Im trying to cut down bubbles since i want to get a reef going, and because now i have egg crate as my top instead of glass to allow good oxygen flow.
